Radarfilm – 7 not danceable dancetracks review

Hier wurde kürzlich ein umfassendes Review des letzten Radarfilm Albums online gestellt:

Sowohl Label als auch Künstler waren mir bis zu diesem Release völlig unbekannt. Laut Discogs hat Radarfilm bereits im Jahr 2007 ein Ambient / Downtempo Album veröffentlicht und zwar als kommerzielles Release und nicht als freies wie das jetztige 7 Dancable Dancetracks. Weitere Netaudio Releases möchte ich allerdings nicht ausschließen, da ist Discogs nicht immer ganz vollständig. Das label Fantomton Music ist auch noch nicht sehr alt, es hat bisher das vorliegende mitgezählt zwei Releases, zudem ein weiteres zusammen mit dem Symbiont Music Netlabel.

Radarfilm im Phlow Magazine

Mogwai, der Kopf des Kreislauf Netlabels hat unlängst für das Musikmagazin Phlow eine kleine Liste seiner persönlichen Lieblingsmusik aus dem Jahre 2009 zusammengstellt.

Vertreten ist auch unser Künstler Radarfilm mit seinem Track “Waiting”.

Auch das Sonicsquirrel Team hat gevotet und Radarfilms Album “7 not danceable dancetracks” ist unter den fünf “Best Creative Commons Albums 2009” gelandet.

Den typischen Clubsound bekommt man hier nicht zu hören.
Radarfilms Album ‘7 not danceable dancetracks’ entführt in andere Welten, zum Träumen und treiben lassen. Mal melancholisch, mal unterhaltsam, mal einfach nur schön und vielleicht ja auch mal tanzbar.
Radarfilm kombiniert hier House und Techno mit Sphärischen Klängen und Experientellen Sounds und erschafft damit eine ganz eigene Welt.

Außerdem enthalten sind zwei Remixe. M-Node steuert eine durchgekallte Trip-Version von ‘On my way’ bei, von Fiend gibt es eine wunderschöne Vocal-Version von ‘Housigedark’.

Radarfilms album ‘7 not danceable dancetracks’ leads you through other worlds, to dream and drift. Sometimes melancholic, sometimes amusing, sometimes just beautiful and sometimes maybe even danceable.
Radarfilm combines house and techno with warm and experimental sounds and thus creates its own world.

The album also contains two remixes. M-Node contributes a crazy Trip-Hop version of ‘On my way’, and there is a beautiful vocal-version of ‘Housigedark’ by Fiend.
